Description

An antique 19th-century pitch pine bench featuring a reversible flip-over backrest. The backrest is supported by sturdy wooden mounts, allowing it to be flipped for seating in either direction. The bench has a solid pitch pine seat and is raised on shaped wooden legs with shaped supports. Recently finished with a fresh coat of natural wax, it radiates warmth and character.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches throughout the piece. There is some loss to the solid pine seat (pictured) as well as some scratches to the back rest (pictured). Overall, the railway bench is in great antique condition.
