He developed an individualistic style of watercolour painting where the bleeding together of colours often produced dramatic results.Exhibited 17 works at the RA but principally at the Walker Art Gallery,Liverpool where he showed 118 works. This is a particularly attractive example of the artists work. ‘At the Cottage Door ‘ signed watercolour,image size 34.5x17.5 cms ,framed size 54x35.5 cms.
