Henry Mounsey
A collection of watercolours by Henry Mounsey.
The eldest child of Jasper Capper Mounsey, an Iron Merchant from Durham, Tyne on Wear, although living in Jesmond (suburb of Newcastle Upon Tyne) at the time these were painted. Later the family moved south to Swanscome, Kent where Henry worked as a Merchant Clark before becoming like his father an Iron Merchant.
He retired by 1891 and moved to Walcot in Somerset.
