Description

This is a charming set of four hand coloured engravings of monkeys from the natural history of monkeys by Sir William Jardine (Edinburgh 1833). These examples are Pythicus Satyrus, Troglodytes Niger, Hylobates Hoolock. These were engraved by William Home Lizars

The set are framed in matching gilt frames that measure 24 x 22 cms.

In good original condition.

The pictures measure 24 cms high by 22 cms wide including the frame.
