Elizabeth Trevor Sutcliffe studied at Manchester School of Art and in France and Italy. Lived in Wales, Whitby and Leeds. Exhibited at The Royal Society of Artists, Birmingham, Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, Manchester City Art Gallery, Royal Academy, London, Royal Cambrian Academy, Walker's Gallery, London and at Yorkshire Union of Artists. Work held in The Pannett Gallery Whitby. She was married to fellow artist Lester Sutcliffe (1848-1933).
