William Wells Quatremain (1857 – 1930) was an English artist from Stratford upon Avon who painted many oil and watercolour landscapes of Britain, many of which were published by J. Salmon the post card manufactures of the day, and was brother of George Wells Quatremain the much-coveted Stratford upon Avon taxidermist who later moved to Malvern. William produced a number of scenes from Warwickshire and specifically from Stratford-upon-Avon, including ''Shakespeare''s Birthplace'' and ''Ann Hathaway''s Cottage.''
 
Footnote: Oleographs can very convincingly resemble oil paintings, but are in fact prints. Oleography was widely used in the late 19th century, and involved the process of chromolithography along with a stamping process to imitate the thick strokes of oil paint.
