Georg Emil Libert was an accomplished Danish landscape painter particularly known for his grand naturalistic depictions of Jutland and Bornholm. Training at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, he exhibited frequently at the Charlottenburg Spring Exhibitions. The Danish National Gallery holds examples.
