This is an original portrait painting of a very smart military officer in red tunic with epaulettes dating from the early 19th Century. The portrait is in its original, gilt and gesso frame.

The painting is in good condition overall, there are a few historic losses from the gesso moulded detail on the frame.

To the reverse there is a label which states this is Eveison Harrison, Lord Lieutenant of Rutland.

The frame measures 31 cms by 26 cms overall.
