Clearly signed and dated in the lower right hand corner. Presented in the original deep moulded and gilded wood and gesso frame. Excellent condition.

From working as a London railway clerk Glendening became one of the most popular British landscape artists of his day. As well as scenes of Southern England, the Scottish Highlands and the Lake District, he frequently painted the landscapes of Snowdonia and was a member of the Betws Y Coed artist's colony.
