Here we have a wonderful and very rare large Oak and Elm George III plate or delft rack c1770. As you can see the rack has fantastic colour and patina. This exceptionally large rack has never been the top of a dresser and was made as a plate rack. Once in the inventory of Andrew singleton at Suffolk House Antiques it has been with the same owner for 20 years so a good fresh to the market piece. The carcass is Oak and the shelves Elm. Wonderful moulded pediment to the top and shaped sides with exquisite piercings. Fantastic decorative drop arched moulding underneath the pediment which is also replicated under the lower shelf. A truly unique and fine quality rack in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 185 cm wide 175 cm high 25 cm deep.
