Proctor was made a full member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1891 and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours from 1909. He exhibited widely and prolifically including 34 works at The Royal Academy and an amazing 241 at the Royal Society of British Artists, as well as at every other major society. This work is in excellent untouched condition and retains the original gilt frame which is also in untouched condition. The whole is a beautiful example of this highly desirable artist’s work and is ready to hang.
