How do I live with these antiques?

Display them securely away from high-traffic areas and direct sunlight to protect delicate glazes and painted details. Dust them gently with a soft, dry brush to maintain the ceramic surface over time.

How can I tell the periods apart?

Examine the style of modelling, base marks and manufacturing materials such as soft paste versus hard paste porcelain. Neoclassical and Rococo influences help date 18th-century pieces, whilst Victorian examples often reflect more robust domestic themes.
