Description
A particularly decorative Victorian mahogany salon suite, displaying handsome proportions, richly coloured timber and finely carved ornamental detailing.
The substantial settee features beautifully figured mahogany across its sweeping back rail, elaborate scrolling arm supports and boldly carved foliate decoration.

Its upholstered back and arms incorporate deep buttoning, complemented by a generous seat and matching cylindrical bolster cushions.
The settee stands on turned mahogany supports terminating in brass-mounted ceramic castors.

The accompanying armchairs feature elegant open arms with scroll-carved handrests, shaped upholstered backs and comfortable padded seats, supported on finely turned and fluted front legs.
The matching blue floral damask upholstery provides a sophisticated contrast against the warm mahogany frames.
An imposing and highly decorative suite, particularly suited to a traditional drawing room, period property, formal reception room or refined contemporary interior.
