Marylebone Antiques has dated this Victorian Mahogany Hall Bench to the 1860s.
It is a great size, it is a less commonly seen wider model, perfect for use as an entry way bench, at the foot of a bed or even as a dining bench. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent, with some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there. It has a gorgeous and characterful patina. This might have been adapted at some point from old Victorian furniture, if so it was done a long time ago.
