Striking Art Deco French silvered bronze sculpture of a seagull on the crest of a wave. A truly realistic study that captures the birds movement and environment perfectly. A very large and very heavy silvered bronze which gives wonderful highlights and depth , sitting on it''s original black marble base signed by L Carvin, a well known French Art Deco period artist, particularly well known for his animal studies. Tiny engraving on wing seems to be ''no 7''
