Figure of Vici by Auguste Moreau C.1930

Description

A patinated spelter figure of Victory c.1930 after the original by Auguste Moreau (1834-1917). Cast as a young winged putto or cherub, wearing a laurel wreath and holding a bow. Excellent green bronze patinated finish. Raised on a tapering square plinth entitled Vici, signed in the cast and with a French foundry mark at the rear. Excellent condition. Dimensions: Width 13" Height 24" Depth 6"
