A very attractive early 18th Century George I figured Oak Lowboy of wonderful golden colour. Retaining the original chased handles.
The top having canted corners, there is a bold stop chamfered section to the carcass, finishing below with shaped cabriole legs to the base. The drawers with lip moulding so typical of the George I period and the wonderfully shaped freeze has a beaded edge. There are small patches to the feet with 2 cm added to the back ones, otherwise in very good original condition, with clean original pine linings.
