Description

An antique Victorian sterling silver and glass claret jug which has a tall ovoid shaped body with attractive cut glass detailing, an ornate silver mount depicting flowers and leaves, a hinged lid with an elaborate finial and a plain handle which is comfortable to hold. This wonderful claret jug would make an important addition to a collection and would look decorative displayed on the table. It will hold a litre of wine and rests on a round glass foot.

Depth: 9 cms (3.5")

It was hallmarked in London for 1891 by Edgar Finley & Hugh Taylor and remains in excellent condition.
