Description

Fine late 19th.c. Italian marble and alabaster bust of a woman c.1890. Head and shoulders length bust of a young woman wearing a distinctive headscarf fastened under the chin. Head carved in white alabaster, the clothing and base in marble with carved detail around the neckline. Signed 'A Del Perugia' to the base. Some minor damage to the edges of the base, otherwise excellent condition.
