Description

Delightful Art Deco table top sculpture by the French sculptor George Maxim (1885-1940) c.1930. Cast in spelter as a girl or young woman running as she is pulled along by two powerful looking hounds on a leash. Mounted on a two tone marble plinth. Good bronze finish to the metal and a Paris foundry stamp. Engraved signature across one corner of the marble. Very good condition.
