A Rare Late 19th Century Austrian Cold-painted Bronze Model of a Rhinoceros (15cm Long)

Description

A good and particularly rare Austrian cold-painted bronze model of a Rhinoceros. It stands on all four feet with head raised and ears alert. Its skin is well detailed with a good record of its hardened protection.

It retains some of its original paint and overall is of good green verdigris colour. It stands level on its feet with no rocking. This is a mid-sized example of good weight and measures in at 15cm in length.
