Description

A highly decorative French Art Deco carved marble sculpture of a roaring male lion, possibly Bardiglio or Arabescato Breccia marble.

The roaring lion standing proudly on a naturalistic base, the sculptor making good use of the veining in the marble to create a superb sculpture.

This sculpture is in good condition for age, there is evidence of old repairs to the body but is stable and can go straight into a home.
