‘Le Gladiateur’
 
A substantial ’Grand Tour’ bronze from the second half of the 19th century depicting ‘The Dying Gaul’, after the antique. The slumped figure with broken sword to his side, on an integral oval base, raised on a thick serpentine marble plinth. Original dark brown patination, a finely cast model.
