Aged surface to the composite stone statue of the hero with lichen and weathered patination .
Hercules , the mythical hero , is depicted resting and leaning on his club , the evidence of his completed Twelve Labours being the pelt of the Nemean lion over his shoulder, and the golden apples of the Hesperides clutched in his right hand behind his back .
. Now exhibited in the Museo Archeologico Nazionale in Naples .

Good attention to detail in the casting , with the powerful musculature in excellent definition.
A well-executed version of the ancient and iconic marble original , of practical scale which could be sited in both interior and exterior settings.
