Bronze Sculpture of a Water Carrier by Debut .

Description

A large 19th century bronze sculpture by Debut Marcel ,, 1865-1933 Paris. A muscular Tunisian water carrier , carrying two large pots of water with ropes attached to his hands.

Debut , painter and sculptor studied with his father Didier Debut and began to exhibit at the salon in 1883 .

There is a plaque to the front of base
