A large bronze sculpture of a bearded Arabian man walking , carrying a stick behind his back with a garment wrapped around his waist holding a dagger by Emile Pinedo 1840-1916 Paris. To the front of the base there is a plaque intitled
ARABE EN MARCHE
EXP” DES BEAUX- ARTS- PARIS
Emile Pinedo was a sculptor and medal engraver , also he practiced casting in which he succeeded his father in 1865 . His bronzes are highly reputed and of very good quality.
Good condition with a light brown / reddish patina .l
