Antique late 19th century Indian/Burmese Alabaster/stone statue of Buddha,c1870. This is a fine example ,well executed and heavy for its size. The stone has great colour with naturally occurring red pigments coming through the white stone ,mainly on the back. Overall condition is good with only minor surface wear and a small chip to the head and base.
