Vénus Accroupie Cast by F. Barbedienne

A late 19th century, French, bronze figure of the ‘Crouching Venus’, after the antique marble at the Pio Clement museum in Rome. Barbedienne cast this in 5 sizes, this being a three tenths reduction. Signed to the base ‘F. Barbedienne’ & with ‘A. Collas” seal. Fine dark brown patination.
