A highly decorative French Art Deco carved marble (possibly Bardiglio) sculpture of a crested cockatoo.

The cockatoo standing proudly on a naturalistic base, the sculptor has made good use of the veining in the marble to create a superb sculpture.

This sculpture is in good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home - (evidence of old repair to crest.)
