A loving cup or toasting bowl is a shared drinking container traditionally used at weddings and banquets. It usually has two or three handles and is often made of silver. Loving cups are often given as trophies to winners of games or other competitions. They can be found in several European cultures, including the Celtic quaich and the French coupe de marriage, and the Russian bratina. The loving cup is passed from person to person ”uniting all who drink from it in etemal brotherhood”.

Condition very good, with just a small amount of wear to the gold rim.
