Italian Carved Alabaster, Marble Figure of Young Girl

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautifully carved figure of a young girl reading her book. She is lovely.

On one page there appears to be a dove and the inscription on the other page is very unclear. It may be a signature. I have tried to show in the photos .

The subject is just beautiful and very well presented.

The condition is excellent apart from a very feint hair line crack near her foot. It hardly shows at all.
