Balleste, French Art Deco Nude Tambourine Dancer C.1930s

Original French art deco figure of a scantily clad tambourine dancer attributed to 'Balleste', circa 1930.

Enrique Molins Balleste (1893-1958). Born in Barcelona, Spain, he later moved to Paris. He signed his work either Molins or Ballesté, often BAL. He also signed his work "GUAL" (part of his wifes' name: Conception Gual-Cuberes).

Green and silver patination.

Unsigned.

Mounted on a black marble cylindrical base.

Height including base: 49cm/ 20"

Depth: 11cm/ 4"

Width: 14cm/ 6"

Condition: Good. Slight patina wear. Small chips to base.
