Japanese Silvered Bronze Pheasant on Naturalistic Wooden Base by "Masatsune"

Description

As part of our Japanese Works of art collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality Silvered Bronze Okimono of a Pheasant by a leading Meiji period Artist specialising in Birds "Masatsune", the bird is captured in fine detail upon a naturalistic Wooden stand, his feathers well carved , he stands in a realistic pose with his wings outstretched, his head, legs and Sharp claws further detailed with Gilt and Shakudo highlights, signed to the underside in a Gilt tablet that reads "Masatsune", a good quality decorative Okimono from a highly regarded Meiji period artist, circa 1900.

Condition report:

The condition is very good with minor age related wear.
