Art Deco Bronze Panther by Rulas

1920 - 1940
Description

A superb Art Deco sculpture, signed in the bronze " Rulas". Mounted on a black marble base, this is a very powerful depiction of the prowling panther stalking his prey. The craftsmanship of this piece is exceptional and this is highlighted by the wonderful patina. The condition of the bronze is excellent, there is a small chip to the side of the base, this is hard to see and does not detract from the beauty of the piece. A very dramatic sculpture that would be an important decorative feature in any interior setting.
