Large and Impressive Art Deco Bronze Sculpture

Description

A very large and most impressive Art deco period BRONZE SCULPTURE of Diana with her deer.

The naked young woman, wearing a simple (and ineffectual) loincloth, dances through the woods accompanied by a leaping stag and doe. Of glorious colour and lovely warm patina, this really is an impressive centrepiece and it is signed: "Montie" within the bronze foliage at the base. Raised on its original variegated marble base, it measures an impressive 32ins long; 24ins high and 7ins deep. (81 x 61 x 18cms)
