Early 19th Century rosewood writing slope with inlaid mother of pearl decoration. Complete with glass inkwells and key - all in excellent condition.

These writing slopes were made by skilled craftsmen who produced excellent carpentry work. They were designed especially for gentlemen travelers and explorers, and they were also used by educated ladies of the period.
