Clean elegant lines, come with original mother of pearl cartouche, named and dated 1835.
top lid opens to reveal the pen tray and various compartments, this also lifts out to reveal a secret single drawer.
Fine quality example. very minor shrinkage to lid, but doesn't effect lock function, importantly sits true and flat. Very minor surface marks from use.
