Description

Victor Heinrich SEIFERT (German 1870-1953): a fine, large and impressive late Art Nouveau or Art Deco period gilt bronze of a dancer.

The young bare-breasted woman stands hautily whilst dancing, her hair in plaits, her right hand to her hip. It is mounted on its original two-colour oval marble base, and it is signed within the integral gilt bronze stand. 18ins (45.75cms) high overall.
