A fine antique English pewter lidded tankard of 32 fluid ounce capacity, by Allen Bright of Bristol, Cott O.P 574.
The Tankard is of ‘tulip’ form, with double dome lid and an open heart thumb piece. Impressive handle with a ‘hooded’ ball terminal.
The inside base is struck with a very clear maker’s touch mark.
The tankard is in excellent condition with a polished silver grey finish.
