K0454 An exceptionally elegant French late 19th-century marquetry and brass-mounted tiered occasional / lamp table, sourced from a private collector in Cheshire. This sophisticated side table features a finely inlaid marquetry top framed by a crisp, ebonised edge. Designed with both beauty and functionality in mind, it offers a single mahogany-lined frieze drawer above two beautifully mirrored lower tiers. The structure is supported by striking brass fluted columns that terminate in classic hoof feet, presenting an elegant silhouette from every angle. Having been restored in the past, this antique table remains in home-ready condition displaying a mellow patina, clean mirrored glass, good colour and that desirable antique character. c1890
