English 19th Century Garden Rustic Pattern Cast Iron Garden Bench

A large sized English antique cast iron and wooden slatted garden bench seat that dates to around 1870, the rustic theme was in vogue then for gardens, so this antique garden bench ends and arm rests are in the rustic pattern, made to resemble branches. A shapely and comfortable antique garden seat with all the wooden slats intact. No damage to the cast irons ends or central support. This model could also have a sun canopy added to it as an extra, there are four original holes within the cast iron frame where it could have been slotted on. A good large size, stands firmly on rooty iron feet. Perfect for a woodland garden.
