Junk Antiques & Interiors has dated this Victorian Putto Wall Corbel to the 19th Century.
Modelled as a putto or cherub with feather wing detail. c 1850
When we purchased it, it needed some attention to stablelise it.
We have left the outside untouched.
We have strengthened it using a traditional french plaster and hessian.
It now strong and ready to display.
An unique and decorative piece.
