The quality is superb, this is beautifully made from birds eye maple, with walnut cross banding on the top. The wood has a lovely colour tone and stunning grain patterns. The four smaller segmented tables nest beautifully under the larger flower shaped table, this is a most useful and stylish item.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco furniture from the 1920s and 1930s features geometric forms, clean lines, and exotic surface veneers such as birds eye maple, walnut, and rosewood. Designs often incorporate contrasting inlaid borders and streamlined functional structures.

Pieces from this period typically utilise solid wood frames overlaid with figured hardwood veneers, including birds eye maple and walnut. Edge banding and structural legs often feature darker contrasting woods to highlight geometric contours.

Authentic pieces exhibit distinctive natural wood figuring characterised by small circular grain patterns, paired with period construction techniques such as hand-cut joinery and original nitrocellulose lacquer finishes.

Position the nested set beside a sofa or armchair as compact side tables, or separate the individual units around a seating layout when entertaining to provide additional surface area.

Dust the surface regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth and avoid direct sunlight exposure to prevent wood discolouration. Apply a clear beeswax polish sparingly twice a year to maintain the natural lustre of the timber.
