A late Victorian bamboo occasional table of square form, raised on gently splayed legs united by a lower tier and reinforced with typical decorative braces below the tabletop. A good original example with a warm, natural colour and reflecting the Anglo-Japanese influence that shaped the Aesthetic Movement in the closing years of the 19th century.
Very good antique condition with only some minor surface wear consistent with age and use. Structurally all in good order, clean and ready to place in the home.
