Austrian Bronze Sealyham Terrier

1900 - 1920
Description

A good Austrian cold-painted BRONZE TERRIER, quite large in size, in the manner of Franz Xaver Bergmann. The terrier (probably a Sealyham) stands alert, seemingly looking up at its owner ~ possibly for food! Good condition, with only a few very minor paint chips. 15cms (6ins) long, and surprisingly heavy ~ 850gms, so approaching 1 kg! c1900.
