Handsome Swedish antique (1912) gold patinated bronze female nude sculpture ‘En Solstund’ (A sunny moment) by Olof Ahlberg (1876-1956). Signed ‘Olaf Ahlberg 1912’ on the base. 13.5cm high x 8.6cm x 5.5cm, weight 0.7kg.

Excellent original condition.

Olof Ahlberg was a Swedish sculptor known for his human sculptures with classical and jugend features. His works were often classicist in style and sometimes even archaic, with clear Art Nouveau influences and an antique aesthetic. Olof Ahlberg’s work can be seen at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
