Amedeo Gennarelli is probably best known for his female nudes in terracotta, usually white clay finished to resemble terracotta and in many different sizes. These were retailed very successfully in ‘Alfred Dunhill’ stores in Paris, London, and New York.

This being a particularly large and fine example.

Condition: In good overall condition, structurally sound with a lovely patination. Some natural fissures and minor firing cracks with evidence of old repairs to rear of base.
