This Edwardian golden oak sideboard comes from the 1930 period in an English Country House style, finished in a warm golden brown colour with glass, mirror glass and brass. The upper superstructure incorporates a flared cornice, two glazed cabinets with bevelled glass and adjustable shelves, and a central arched bevelled mirror with a carved frieze above. The lower section contains six drawers fitted with decorative brass drop handles and a carved frieze. The piece stands at 210 cm high, 176 cm wide and 56 cm deep. Suitable for placement in a dining room or living space, the sideboard provides substantial storage and display capacity. The natural grain of the timber, the ornate metal hardware and the intricate floral carved details create a traditional aesthetic.
