Well-cast bronze figural study depicting Chronos , the God and personification of time in Greek mythology. The evocative study shows the winged and bearded deity raised upon classical ruins inscribing or marking a tablet of stone .

The stepped plinth base of well-figured siena marble with a cast bronze ovolo moulding.

In excellent original condition with a rich colour and patina to the bronze , the marble base with minor nicks to the edges commensurate with age and use .
