Beautiful marble bust, depicting an orientalist portrait of a woman wearing a turban, gazing towards the right. Superb carving to the grey dress and turban. By Guglielmo Pugi.

Guglielmo Pugi (1850- 1915) born in Fiesole a small town close to Florence. He was a highly regarded and skilled sculptor who specialised in female figures and busts.

Origin/Age: Italian, Circa 1880

Condition: Excellent condition
